"I ended up coming here 3 times on my trip Up North this year. All 3 times I ordered the Bourbon Street Steak. Awesome steak. Delicious every time. It comes with Bread that is excellent. One meal I got French Onion Soup that was good. The other two visits I got a salad that was large and very fresh. All 3 visits I got Mashed Potatoes that were excellent. The Last visit I got a piece of Chocolate Cake to go, it was an excellent piece of cake. Also on the Last Visit I ate with a friend that had the Perch Sandwich. He stated it was excellent. The Service was excellent. Overall 4.5 Stars. Since I have to round I'll round up. I will be back next year."

"Great service and our meal was spot on! The French Onion soup was delectable. The blackened seasoning on the Whitefish has great flavor but, it's packed with a little more heat than the norm. I would recommend "light" blackened seasoning - and I like heat. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the Wonderful town of Bellaire! Cheers!"

"We had the Ribs and a Reuben, both were excellent. The fries were awesome, I didn’t ask, but I wonder if they have malt vinegar for them for next time?.?.?. Friendly service, they were moderately busy, but all the waitresses were helping each other out and checking in on us while we ate. I’ll definitely go back. My only want is that they’d have more gluten free items, my wife can’t have them at all, and I’m gluten sensitive. Oh, and malt vinegar for the fries. (Ooops, we started eating before we took pictures.)"

"This is a little old-school diner with great food! It's all homemade, and they definitely have a few specialties that I love getting. Breakfast? Massive pancakes with your choice of mixins and a tender 8oz steak. Lunch/Dinner? I love the liver and onions, but their famous ribs are delicious, too! Dessert? By FAR the best carrot cake I've ever had, and I've had a LOT. Super moist, finely shredded carrots, and the most creamy and indulgent housemade cream cheese frosting you'll ever have. This is worth a drive by itself!"

"Beautiful and cozy. Delicious food, I got the baked ziti with the French onion soup, and I’ve never had French onion soup before but being my first exposure it was incredible!"

"The food was pretty good. The fries were great. The fish was ok. It was very thin, so a little dry. My husband said the burger was good."

"My family went to the parade last night and started at another place for food and drinks only to find out that they only served beer and nobody in our group particularly liked the menu . We looked up Toonies and found fish and crab dip + everything we all liked ~ so off we went ! Come to find out they weren’t serving food last night ~ but it was quickly made right by whom I can only imagine was the owner;) she came over and asked if we all were hungry and said she ordered pizzas for the entire place ! ( delish btw ) Let me just say this was such a kind and unexpected thing to do and we are so impressed! All she asked was to pay it forward ~ something we also believe in and appreciate when anyone shows an act of kindness to make someone else smile . We will definitely make the 35 min drive to come back and try the fish and crab dip ;) Thanks so much for the pizza ~ we appreciate it more than you know ;)"
